Description

Psychopsis Mendenhall ‘Hildos’ FCC/AOS is an award-winning Psychopsis hybrid famous for its dramatic, butterfly-like blooms and exceptionally long-lasting flower spikes. This orchid produces tall, wiry inflorescences that can continue to produce sequential blooms from the same spike for extended periods, often years under ideal conditions.

The cultivar ‘Hildos’ is especially notable for earning an FCC/AOS (First Class Certificate from the American Orchid Society), reflecting outstanding flower quality, form, and presentation. The blooms are large for the genus, with striking yellow petals marked by bold brown or maroon patterns and a highly sculptural, butterfly-like appearance.
