Renanthera Red refers to red-flowering forms and red-selected hybrids within the Renanthera group, a Vanda alliance genus known for its intense color, tall climbing growth, and clusters of long-lasting blooms. These orchids are prized for their fiery red to scarlet flower displays that stand out strongly in tropical collections.

The flowers are typically star-shaped and produced in dense, branching sprays. A mature plant can carry multiple long inflorescences at once, creating a dramatic vertical display. The red forms are especially valued for their saturated color, often appearing bright scarlet, crimson, or deep red-orange depending on parentage.
